I startes out at 2 pills but after 3 months I had to take 4 , and after an hour I was out. That was when I was working day shift. It works just as well as Ambien and it is over the counter. I recommend only taking one tablet to sleep not two. As with any medication that will put you to sleep you want to be careful when flying on long hauls: 1. You want to still be able to wake if necessary in the event of any type of emergency and 2. Plus during any flight you need to get up and move around a bit to help in order to prevent DVT; blood clotting from immobility.
